Fran Agudo is responsible for the evolution of the menu of Mont Bar and Mediamanga and coordinates the kitchen equipment of the two restaurants.


Born in Andújar (Jaén) and raised in Lloret de Mar (Girona), Fran studied hospitality and cooking at the Girona School of Hospitality and Tourism. During his adolescence, Fran was very attached to this world thanks to the dedication and passion of the family.

After finishing his studies in 2006, Agudo began working as an stagier at Celler de Can Roca. At the end of his internship, he joined the Tickets team as stagier and after as head of various areas in the kitchen, until in 2014 he became responsible for the restaurant’s kitchen, thus achieving the MICHELIN Star.

In October 2020, Fran became the gastronomic director of Mont Bar and Mediamanga and it was in 2022 that they were recognized with their first Sol REPSOL.


Fran is part of a new generation of chefs that is revolutionizing the national and international gastronomic scene. Tradition and avant-garde are at the heart of their cuisine, making fusion a way of understanding their philosophy.
