Do you have a menu or a tasting menu?

At Mont Bar we offer À la carte and a ‘Classic’ Tasting Menu. We have a ‘Mont’ Tasting Menu available too.

Our Tasting Menus will offer you the opportunity to enjoy a true gastronomic experience with every bite. Our Tasting Menus consists of several individual snacks and shared dishes designed around our local and seasonal products, as well as our classic dishes at Mont Bar. The ‘Mont’ Tasting Menu offers more product.

You can also opt for a coinciding wine pairing to accompany each dish and enhance the flavours.

For a harmonious dining experience, every guest must have the same option. For example, all guests in the same reservation must have either one of the two Tasting Menus or À La Carte.

It is essential that you let us know of any allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions and/or ingredients that you do not prefer.

Is it necessary to make a reservation in advance?

Mont Bar has an intimate space, with limited capacity. For that reason, we recommend booking in advance.

Do you have a dress code?

Our dress code is semiformal / business casual / smart casual. We do not recommend very casual wear such as beach or sport wear.

Can we come with children?

If your children like gastronomic food of course they are welcome to dine with you, we only ask you to remember that it is an intimate space and we ask for respect for all of our guests.

Can we come with dogs?

On our terrace we do accept furry friends!

Where are you located?

We are located in the central Eixample district, at the intersection of Aribau and Diputació, near Plaça Universitat.

Do you offer options for vegans, vegetarians, pregnant people, and/or individuals with gluten or lactose intolerance?

We offer a variety of options and adaptations À La Carte for vegans, vegetarians, and individuals with gluten or lactose sensitivities.

Our Tasting Menu cannot be modified for those who do not consume seafood, shellfish, fish or meat due to its specific design.

The Tasting Menu is fully adaptable for guests with gluten-free, lactose-free, or pregnancy-friendly needs.

For any other dietary requests, please contact us in advance so we can properly tailor our offerings to your needs.

Can you adapt to allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions and/or dislikes?

If you have any allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions and/or ingredients that you do not prefer, it is best to tell us about your requests at the time of making the reservation.

If you are part of a reservation of more than 4 people, consult your companions that made the booking, or let us know directly with more than 72 hours notice.

How much time is needed for lunch or dinner?

Your table will be available to you for 2 hours and 30 minutes. (2 hours and 45 minutes for the Tasting Menu).

Please remember that punctuality is essential for the smooth operation of our service. If you are running late, please call the restaurant directly or email us at info@montbar.com. Your table will be held for 15 minutes after your reservation time. After that, it will be canceled automatically.

Do you have parking?

There is a parking lot on Aribau street. You may access it  by turning on to Aribau from Gran Via, it’s located just after the cinema movie theatre and before the restaurant Mediamanga.

Can you accommodate groups?

Yes, we accommodate groups!

We can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people at the same table inside Mont Bar.

Reservations of 5 to 10 people is our “Mont” Tasting Menu.

Groups of  more than 10 people: Privatisation of Mont Bar.
We offer the option to book the entire restaurant exclusive for private events, for a standing style cocktail lunch/dinner. For these events, we serve our Tasting Menu in an individualized way to ensure a pleasant gastronomic experience while mingling.

Advanced booking is necessary.

What is the reservation procedure and cancellation policy?

You can make a reservation on our website by clicking here.  Our reservations require a credit card and/or prepayment.

Important to keep in mind:

  • Reservations of 1 to 4 people: 
    • You may choose between the À La Carte option, our ‘Classic’ Tasting Menu or the ‘Mont’ Tasting Menu.
      For a harmonious dining experience, every guest must have the same option. For example, all guests in the same reservation must have either one of the two Tasting Menus or A La Carte. *A la carte option: A minimum of 3 snacks and 2 main courses must be ordered per person.
    • Your table will be available for 2 hours and 30 minutes. (2  hours and 45 minutes for the Tasting Menu).
    • Your table may be assigned to a high table, low table, shared table or at the bar seating depending on availability. If you have a seating preference, please let us know. However we reserve the right to make the final seating assignment.
    • Reservations have a 48 hour policy. It is possible to make changes (number of people, time, date, allergies and/or intolerances) or cancel your reservation with more than 48 hours notice. In case of late cancellation/ late changes (within 48 hours), or a no-show, a charge of 100€ per person will be applied.
  • Reservations of 5 to 10 people, the ‘Mont’ Tasting Menu is required.
    • We remind you that your reservation is associated with a 72 hour policy. It is possible to make changes (number of people, time, date, allergies and/or intolerances) or cancel your reservation with more than 72 hours notice. In case of late cancelation/ late changes (72 hours), or not presenting to your reservation, a total of 100€ per person will be charged.
  • We offer coinciding wine pairings to both of our tasting menus.
  • If any guest has allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions/requirements, and/or dislikes certain ingredients, it is essential to inform us in advance.
  • Please remember that punctuality is essential for the smooth operation of our service. If you are running late, please call the restaurant directly or email us at info@montbar.com. Your table will be held for 15 minutes after your reservation time. After that, it will be canceled automatically.
  • In cases of pre-payments, refunds are not available. However, if canceled with more than 72 hours’ notice, the deposit may be used on another occasion within 6 months.
  • Our prices are subject to change.
